None of SeaWorld's side of what they did do was included. SeaWorld
Orlando didn't open until 1973. This is an attempt to pull on the
viewer to the side of animal activists like PETA.

Do not rely on the
film, it is full of misleading semi truths. My late husband worked
there in 2004-06 as a Pyro Technician the team that does the fireworks.
He applied in 05 for a position as animal handler, the people who feed
the marine animals and take them to the vet if need be, this is a lower
position than whale trainer, even that position required a degree in marine biology. The standard of care for the animals and level of protective training has greatly changed and continues to evolve for the health and safety of animals and staff.

Before passing judgement based on this obviously biased film, do the research yourself, the information regarding case and the people who joined PETA to sue SeaWorld is public record.

Re: The September Issue (2009)

Love You Anna <3 <3 <3

Re: The Black Power Mixtape 1967-1975 (2011)

You are always welcome

Re: The Black Power Mixtape 1967-1975 (2011)

Ugh finally found the right website lol. Love the thought that you played hearts and minds with your guitar, I remember my dad doing something similar when he was given a mandolin. Face of white hot fury and hands of an angel ;) I guess their relationship must work for them, maybe they're as odd as each other. I just desperately wanted them both to get out of the rut I think they were in, all their interactions, their work, seemed to be habit. Like they were both bored. Maybe they should invite Mr Peniswinebottle round for an evening to liven things up a bit ;) This might be one of those films that would have been better if it was a different film.... Sharktopus! So bad it's almost good ;)

Re: The Pervert’s Guide to Ideology (2012)

unless you have a 3 digit IQ, this gem is not for you.

Re: In the Realms of the Unreal (2004)

I started to do a stream of consciousness post about my impressions of this one, but that could get pretty self-indulgent, so... I don't know, I didn't much like his art, but I sure could identify with his beating the hell out of his canvas from time to time. Long time ago, I was teaching a buddy of mine to play guitar, and he expressed some frustration about it and asked me how I had approached it. I told him honestly that I pretty much considered the damned thing my enemy and that he might also benefit from a little justly applied anger towards it every so often, to use what he was feeling and accept that it was a contest, of sorts. Anyway, that was the impression I took from that part, that creating art is a f-ing WAR, not to put too fine a point on it. He seemed pretty selfish, too, at least in the beginning of their relationship, taking the opportunity to use her money to fund himself, but, I mean, hell, how many artists have done that over the centuries? If he'd come to it with a fat wad of his own, a lot of people would be disparaging him for that, as well. Either the poor bastard is entitled, or he's entitling himself. He's a dilettante or a bum, depending on whose wallet is involved. Speaking of which, the fast-talking art dealer was... most amusing, wouldn't you agree? I mean, seriously, I don't think I've known many 5 year olds who wouldn't be able to see right through what he was selling. I understand those guys are necessary, but they do tend to be hilarious. No doubt he would have the perfect sales pitch for the man drunkenly trying to stuff his John Thomas into a (hopefully empty) wine bottle... Her art, well, I can't say I liked it much better than his, but what I can say is that I thought the music for this was pretty damned good. The guy combines all those Japanese pentatonic scales with elements of jazz, of all things, pretty doggoned convincingly. I was seriously impressed with that. I can see what you mean about the film maybe being more artful than the two of them.

Re: In the Realms of the Unreal (2004)

Well, not that much nakedness but I knew that would catch your attention ;) I believe the film is on here now. Would love to hear your thoughts on their relationship, the film makes better art of their lives than they make themselves? Her cutie pictures share some......... qualities of the Vivien Girls? Don't drag yourself from the ivories on my account, don't break the focus!
